Why do you want to join the Prairie Bloom racing team?

What are your goals for 2024?

Being part of the race team requires that you lead at least one group ride per calendar year, and volunteer for events, whether it's our own or those of our sponsors. Are you willing and able to do that?

We do not have team dues, but each member is required to purchase the team kit. Price is approximately $260 for jersey and bibs. If you already own the race team kit (lavender with sponsor logos), you're all set.

I understand

The race team was created to first and foremost support the cycling club. This means that being a prior and ACTIVE member of Prairie Bloom Cycling Club is the most important factor considered when choosing applicants. Why? Because it means these individuals already share PBCC’s mission and will only strengthen that community. PBCC has always held an open invitation to all female-identifying athletes to join, so if you did not join the cycling club side of things in the past, or if you joined but were unable to get involved, please consider diving into that community first! Use this space to add additional info (for example, did you just move here and were therefore unable to join, but are still jazzed to help get more women on bikes?).

If your application is approved you will be sent an athlete agreement separately by February 5th. Please mark that you understand that the process is not complete until the athlete agreement has been signed and returned.
